How to implement: Add an announcement channel to communicate the rules to all community members effectively.

As server owners and administrators, you shoulder the critical responsibility of ensuring orderly conduct within the server. To aid you in this task, we offer several essential tools designed to streamline community management:

1. Message unsend:

This feature enables you to swiftly remove any messages that are deemed inappropriate or violate our community standards. This action helps prevent the potential spread of harmful content.

Removing such content is crucial, but equally important is guiding the members involved. Offering a brief explanation in a private message can help them understand the issue and adjust their future communications.

How to implement: Press and hold the message, select Unsend, and you can remove any messages sent by members within the past 7 days.

2. Mute:

Muting is an interim measure used when a member's actions violate community standards but do not warrant a permanent ban. You can set the mute duration from 10 minutes to one day. This period allows the member to reflect on their actions and limits the spread of any negative impact.

Muted members cannot post in any channel under that server. It's crucial to inform the muted member about the reason and length of the mute so they can understand and rectify their behavior.

How to implement: Locate the member in the member list, swipe left, and choose Mute. The mute can be lifted earlier if deemed appropriate through the settings.

3. Block:

Blocking is effective for members who persistently violate rules or display highly inappropriate behavior. This action immediately removes the offender from the server and prevents their return. It's prudent to escalate to this step gradually—issue warnings, then mute, and, as a last resort, block. Document all reasons and evidence for blocking to facilitate potential appeals in the future.

How to unblock: Adjust the blocklist settings on the server settings page.
