Gelonghui, February 21st丨EMPEROR CULTURE (00491.HK) announced that for the interim results of the 2024/2025 fiscal year, due to weak consumer demand and a lack of blockbuster films, the group's total revenue decreased to 0.243 billion HK dollars during the period. After accounting for depreciation and financial costs, the group's net loss was 56.8 million HK dollars (2023: 0.143 billion HK dollars). The basic loss per share was 0.018 HK dollars (2023: 0.045 HK dollars). In recent years, changes in consumer habits and competition from streaming platforms have led to a transformation of cinemas—from merely showing films to integrating more functions.
