Bernstein stated that this German luxury auto manufacturer exceeded profit expectations in the first quarter, despite revenue falling short of expectations. Bernstein noted that BMW Group also reiterated its annual performance forecast, which takes into account certain tariff impacts, but it is anticipated that the effects of tariffs will lessen and ease in the second half of the year. Bernstein's Analysts stated: "Only a few auto manufacturers considered the impact of tariffs in their initial performance expectations, and BMW Group is one of them."
