Investors were hoping for some good news for the trade negotiations over the weekend. But yet, what they got was an announcement of 100% tariff on films produced abroad.

By the end of April, it managed to close with a modest 1.6% gain. Investors will be focused on the Federal Reserve this week, with the central bank scheduled to announce its third interest rate decision of the year on Wednesday (7 May)
Market expects the federal funds rate / interest rate to be retained at current level.
