Rivian Makes All Its EVs in the U.S., but It Still Isn't Immune to Trump's Tariffs
Rivian lowers this year's delivery target due to the impact of Trump's tariffs.
USA electric vehicle manufacturer Rivian stated in its earnings report on Tuesday that the number of cars delivered this year may be lower than previously forecasted due to Trump's tariffs and other regulatory changes, making it the latest auto manufacturer affected by the new government's chaotic economic policies, despite the fact that all of the company's cars are produced in the USA. The company said on Tuesday that it expects to deliver between 0.04 million and 0.046 million electric vehicles by the end of 2025. However, a month ago, the company had stated it still aimed to deliver between 0.046 million and 0.051 million cars this year. Due to the expected impact of tariffs, Rivian adjusted its capital expenditure guidance.
