wont happen for next few years. republicans would lose their political pants for decades, followed by dollar devaluation. so not happenning. also, US is a degrowing economy with 36 trillion in debt and rising unemployment. these will add fuel to fire. what we are seeing is billionaires exiting their long equiy positions and selling it to global etf and mutual funds (mainly owned by retail and 301K)

Do you know China’s terms? Complete removal of tariffs. Fixing Taiwan’s semiconductor issue (TSMC) and the removal of the extra 100% tariff on TSMC, and being respectful. You think Trump can do that?

Caught a quick rise on $SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY.US)$ (even as much of the market went sideways), and, not that your thesis is bad, buUut… it just takes one stup!d tweet (or so-called truth) to derail any recovery. The numbers, indicating decline, were mostly caused by excess ordering from overseas (mostly China) in advance of tariffs, yet there are many cargo ships leaving ports without full loads: there are disruptions coming, and there will be shortages/inflation.

yea, i get it. it was just what they was saying and I thought well it a possibility. he could come out and say we are rolling tariffs back on China to 30% for 90 days until a deal is worked out. so i was thinking what would a good way to just take a small position to capture a 3-4% move if it did happen. was thinking going put weeks on spx doing a long vertical call spread at 5800/5850 somewhere around there and mess with the spread thatbwya ypu would only been in couple hundred but still have upside potential for a rally. it say qe just slowly grind up that you could still sell for a small profit and not be in thousands
