How to invest during Earnings seasons?

I think the improved earnings are mostly inflationary. This is also evidenced from the recent inflation scare in the US. As such, I believe that the Fed would have no choice but to raise interests rate by the end of their two days meeting. Rising interests rate would result in rising bind yields and thus a drop in bond prices.
