What a wonderful and unexpected surprise to wake up to today and hear the news that Bristol Meyers acquired $2seventy bio (TSVT.US)$ and it basically opened instantly pre-market up 80%.
In all fairness, I definitely did not see this coming, this was going to be a long-term hold for me, but jeez, I think I have to cash out some (trying to decide between 33% and 50%) of these shares since it basically doubled in value the second the pre-market opened. first time I see a stock in the featured list has increased 70%. and then, it cannot go up and does not go down , it just remains +2.5%?/-2.5% for a few hours ! usually, a stock gas increased 70%, can rise or drop 10 to 50% more. can someone explain why this stock acts strangely?
