Hey there, so I've already opened my TFSA account on moomoo, and guess what? I got a commission-free card worth $2000, which was instantly credited to my account. Plus, I made a deposit of 5000 last night, and I'm about to receive a 300-buck stock cash coupon for that. With the market anticipating rate cuts from the Bank of Canada, would it be wise to buy a GIC or just put money into $VANGUARD ALL EQUITY ETF PORTFOLIO ETF UNITS (VEQT.CA)$ / $ISHARES CORE EQUITY ETF PORTFOLIO UNITS CAD (XEQT.CA)$ at this point?

Received $180000 inheritance and I can’t decide between the following two options: 40% $GLOBAL X HIGH INTEREST SAVINGS ETF UNITS A CAD (CASH.CA)$ , 60% $ISHARES CORE EQUITY ETF PORTFOLIO UNITS CAD (XEQT.CA)$ or 100% $ISHARES CORE BALANCED ETF PORTFOLIO UNITS (XBAL.CA)$ . This is for a no - registered account with 10 years or so of time horizon. And advice?

Half my portfolio are ETFs. The other half are: $Condor Resources Inc (CN.CA)$ , $The Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD.CA)$ , $Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS.CA)$ , $Fortis Inc (FTS.CA)$ , T, $Suncor Energy Inc (SU.CA)$ , $Enbridge Inc (ENB.CA)$ , and unfortunately $Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp (AQN.CA)$ . Over the last several years only CN and FTS have given me consistent returns. Recently SU and ENB are finally showing signs of life but all the other ones are...

Have ~50k in cash but hesitant to buy in with the huge run up we've had. Yeah I know you can't time the market but I wonder what the odds are it will continue before it tapers off.
