• 73372627 : In fact was not tariffs. was more 100% shorted on the hews that they expand theirs flot. If not wrong they ordered 2.8 Billions in China for the new ships.
  If tariffs will be as is now, we will see decresing shipping in 3-4 month from now and this it is because the tariffs was not announced with retro. The tariff generally apply for unshiped orders starting with the date on application.

• TWIMO (151403908) : Hi NG, unfortunately I’m caught holding ZIM as it looked more attractive than SB when I entered. Even with the dividend, feels like a mistake under such economic clouds… There are more promising stocks to look at I reckon… Please share your thoughts if you have a few minutes .

• gghjh hghj : It's just a unilateral statement from the USA. Given the current situation, what is there to talk about? What can be used for negotiation? What China wants, the USA is not willing to sell. Consider what else the two countries have that is worth discussing.

• 151490696 Minotor : the problem is, china has the best tech, experience and quality control from the manufacturer perspective. this is partly due to its years of experience in  manufacturing AND the dictatorship, hence the efficiency and effectiveness.
  SE asia is considered lower end of the manufacturing with relatively lower technical requirements, in short, you can make clothes and shoes from vietnam and Bangladesh. good luck making smart phones and computers in those countries.

• Minotor 151490696 : search TPP trade  agreement - and you will understand what is at stake here  - you are looking at a mega  trade deal with Japan, South korea , india, australia , vietnam, mexico and canada  to compete against china - trump did not want to join in 2018 unless the terms were better  - trump is very serious about decoupling  - but to tour point this comes with disruption ans pain.

• 73372627 : Depend on reorganisation of the shipping ports of exit and ports of entry. Trading reorganisation.
  Due to the US vs China trading war, it is to see how can affect Zim on theirs order for new shipps (26) build in China and suppose to be delivered in 2026.
  Could affect because manny parts are manufacture in US and the shipps communications and computing are all made in US and few in Europe. If those parts will move to be manufatured or assembly in Israel, then no increase in shipp build will be.
